| All design meetings, appointments, consultations and fabric/finish/furniture selection will be billed at a 1 hour minimum. Additional hours billed in 15 min. increments.
Clients who wish to employ S. Ray Design for decorative accessory shopping are subject to an hourly fee for time incurred in the event that any and/or all un-purchased items require returning to showrooms/retail establishments.
Installations in the home, including window treatments are generally supervised by a member of S. Ray Design to ensure design integrity and therefore are subject to an hourly fee. Installer fees are separate and are typically invoiced through S. Ray Design.
Time incurred for returning of fabric/finish samples will be billed at 1/2 the regular design hourly rate.
Design related phone discussions can be deemed as billable time.
All product-related invoices will have an automatic 5% administrative fee applied.
S. Ray Design is responsible ONLY for the design drawings and specifications that are generated by Sarah Ray and/or a member of S. Ray Design. Any design work specified by S. Ray Design and executed by a subcontractor is the responsibility of the subcontractor. In the event of a mistake, error, or unsatisfactory craftsmanship, S. Ray Design will not be held accountable, unless the error is a direct result of an oversight made by a member of S. Ray Design. S. Ray Design will make every reasonable effort possible to rectify errors should they occur.
For projects outside the general Bay Area Peninsula, additional drive-time fees may apply.
